dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this master thesis was to create a library of fatty acid amides and test them for biological activity. The protocol was based on using CDI (carbonyldiimidazole) as coupling reagent. This protocol has previous yielded good results for synthesis of secondary and tertiary fatty acid amides from polyunsaturated fatty acids. dc.description.abstract | Hensikten med masterprosjektet var å lage et bibliotek av fettsyreamider og teste disse for biologisk aktivitet. Protokollen gikk ut på å benytte CDI (karbonyldiimidazol) som koblingsreagens. Denne protokollen har tidligere gitt gode resultater for dannelse av en del sekundære og tertiære fettsyreamider fra flerumettede fettsyrer.
