Forsøk på syntese av et glycero-galactolipid og et sphingolipid

Abstract

Det ble gjort et forsøk på å syntetisere 2-(dodecanoyloxy)-3-(((2S,3R,4S,5R,6R)-3,4,5trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yl)oxy)propyl heptadecanoate. Dette skulle bli gjort ved å først allylere beskyttet galaktose, så dihydroksylering. Dette førte til problemer, og vi endte med å bytte prosjekt.

Det ble deretter gjort forsøk på å syntetisere Obscureaminol A via en hemisyntese fra EPA. Hvor det blir utført flere reaksjoner, blant annet reduksjon, og wittig. Nøkkeltrinnet var en reaksjon mellom et 15 karbons gringardreagens og ved bruk av weinreb-amidet av L-alanin. Reaksjonen ble utført 3 ganger uten noe ønsket produkt.

An attempt is made to synthesize the 2-(dodecanoyloxy)-3-(((2S,3R,4S,5R,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy6-(hydroxymethyl)tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yl)oxy)propyl heptadecanoate. This would have been done by first allylation of galactose, then di-hydroksylation. This caused problems and we started a new project.

Then it’s attempted to synthesize Obscuraminol A by hemisynthesis of EPA. Multiple reactions were performed, including reductions and wittig. The key reaction was between a 15 carbon gringard reagens, using the weinreb-amine from L-alanine. There were 3 attempts without yielding the wanted product.
