dc.description.abstractThe concept of social capital is a popular concept among large international organisations such as the World Bank. Furthermore, Scandinavian countries seem to score consitently high among measurements of social capital. Being among the largest NGOs in Norway the Norwegian Red Cross has significant influence on the Norwegian society. This thesis explorers the influence of different social capital discourses on the Norwegian Red Cross and its activities.nb_NO
