En vandring langs Hoffselva - Tilgjengeliggjøring for rekreasjon og friluftsliv

Abstract

Byene fortettes og resultatet blir en økt etterspørsel etter gode arealer med rekreative kvaliteter. Samtidig øker behovet for bevaring og styrking av de blågrønne strukturene i byen, og arbeidet med tilgjengeliggjøring av de eksisterende arealene blir vesentlig.

Denne masteroppgaven er en prosjekteringsoppgave der vi presenterer et designforslag for et avgrenset prosjektområde langs Hoffselva i Oslo kommune. Oppgaven undersøker hvordan Hoffselva i større grad kan tilgjengeliggjøres gjennom bedre koblinger og oppholdssoner.

Hovedformålet med oppgaven er å presentere et helhetlig planforslag for Hoffselva, og et ønske om å bidra i større grad av å ta vare på og bruke den blågrønne strukturen. Forslaget har som mål å belyse styrking av folkehelsen gjennom gode områder for rekreasjon i nærmiljøet, og presentere sentrale tema om bevaring av stedegne kvaliteter og implementering av stedsspesifikke løsninger og detaljer.

Oppgaven er delt inn i fem kapitler. De første to kapitlene introduserer oppgaven, relevant tema og kunnskap, mens det tredje kapittelet omhandler prosjektområdet og aktuelle registreringer. Fjerde kapittel presenterer designforslaget med tegninger, snitt og detaljer som forklarer og begrunner forslagene. Avslutningsvis reflekterer vi over valg som er tatt, og legger frem en konklusjon av oppgaven.

The cities are in a process of urban densification and the result is an increased demand for well-planned areas with recreational qualities. At the same time, the need to preserve and strengthen the blue-green structures in the city is increasing, and the efforts to make the existing areas accessible become essential.

This master’s thesis is a landscape architecture project in which we present a design proposal for a limited project area along Hoffselva in Oslo. The assignment examines how Hoffselva should be made more accessible through enhancing connections and recreational zones.

The main purpose of the thesis is to present a unified planning proposal for Hoffselva, with a desire to contribute to a higher degree of preservation and use of the blue-green structure. The aim of the proposal is to highlight the strengthening of public health through high quality areas for recreation in the local environment, and to present central topics about the preservation of local qualities and the implementation of site-specific solutions and details.

The assignment is divided into five chapters. The first two chapters introduce the task, subject matter and relevant knowledge, while the third chapter introduces the project area and relevant registrations. The fourth chapter presents the design proposal with plans, sections and details as descriptions and justifications for the proposals. In the final chapter we reflect on choices that have been made, and present a conclusion on the project’s results.
