Standardtunnelen

Abstract

Det bygges mange høgtrafikk-vegtunneler i, og rundt de store byene Norge. Selv om det er enkelte likheter, er det også mange forskjeller. Hvorfor det? Kan man ikke bare bygge alle tunneler helt like? En tunnel er jo tross alt bare et hull i berget med trafikk igjennom? Vil ikke dette gi gevinster av en enklere prosess med mindre krangling, fordi det meste allerede er diskutert og avklart? Kan ikke tunnelene bygges raskere, fordi både entreprenør og produsent allerede har systemer som passer inn i det nye prosjektet? Og vil ikke drifts- og vedlikeholdspersonell få en enklere oppgave, fordi de kommer til samme tunnelanlegg, uavhengig av hvor de er? Kort sagt, kan ikke tunnelbransjen få en stor gevinst av at man blir enige om èn, felles standard for høgtrafikk-tunneler, der alle forhold som drift- og vedlikehold, kostnader, anleggsteknikk og sikkerhet er innlemmet? Denne oppgaven besvarer følgende problemstilling: Er det mulig å lage en standardløsning for innredning av alle høgtrafikk vegtunneler?

Many high-traffic road tunnels are being built in, and around the large cities of Norway. Although there are some similarities, there are also several differences. Why can't you build all the tunnels exactly the same? Is it plausible that this will provide benefits from a simpler process with less arguing, because most of it has already been discussed and clarified? Can`t the tunnels be built faster, because both the contractor and the manufacturer already have systems that fit into the new project? And will not operation and maintenance personnel be given an easier task, because they come to the same tunnel facility, regardless of where they are? In short, can`t the tunnel industry benefit greatly from agreeing on one, common standard for hightraffic tunnels, where all aspects such as operation and maintenance, costs, construction technology and safety are included? This assignment answers the following problem: Is it possible to create a standard solution for the design of all high-traffic road tunnels?
