dc.description.abstractThe thesis assessed the impacts of Tirkidi refugee camp on the rural livelihoods of the host community in Itang district, Ethiopia. The topics covered livelihood sources of refugee and host community, impacts of Tirkidi refugee camp, host community coping mechanisms of the camp impacts, relationships between host community and refugees, and interventions of agencies working in the camp for coexistence and sustainable use of resources between the host community and refugees. The study used mixed research approach and embedded research methods to address the research questions. The livelihoods framework is used as an analytical framework.nb_NO
