Whether or not development activities are "successful" is important to a wide range of actors, each of which require some form of information on the progress and effectiveness of investment in development. It is important to be able to collect, analyze and report the information necessary, in the appropriate degree of detail for each actor and in an accurate way. The purpose of this study is to provide ideas and tools for how to assess the effect of project activities through the use of appropriate indicators. It is assumed that an appropriate set of indicators might contribute to improving the impact of the projects as well as improving the quality of reporting.nb_NO
