Autonomi i olje og gass : en studie av hindringer og autonomiens innflytelse på organisasjonsstrukturen

Abstract

This thesis concentrates on autonomy and organizational structure, with a focus on the oil and gas industry. The question the thesis has addressed is: “The influence of autonomy in oil and gas. Evaluate the effect of increased autonomy on the organizational structure. What are the constraints for an increased degree of autonomy in the organization?” To make this thesis manageable it has been limited to evaluate Statoil as an operator and autonomous systems in maintenance.

Dette masterarbeidet tar for seg autonomi i olje og gass og er avslutningen av min mastergrad ved Norges miljø- og biovitenskapelige universitet (NMBU). Min Spesialisering er industriell økonomi med fordypning i maskin og produktutvikling på instituttet for matematiske realfag og teknologi (IMT) på fakultet for miljøvitenskap og teknologi.
