| dc.description.abstract | Masteroppgaven har tittelen BIM-prosjektering – med særlig fokus på de ulike aktørenes oppfatning av effektiv gjennomføring.
Hensikten med oppgaven er å se hvordan de ulike aktørene i ett og samme prosjekt korrelerer i deres oppfatning av BIM. Undersøkelsen blir gjennomført på bakgrunn av litteratursøk, teori, caseprosjekt, diskusjon og analyse. I tillegg er det interessant å få klarhet i bruken av BIM i gjennomføring av prosjekteringen og hvordan det påvirker den totale gjennomføringen av et byggeprosjekt. Problemstillingen lyder som følgende:
Hvordan oppfattes BIM-gjennomføringen av et byggeprosjekt hos de ulike aktørene i prosjekteringen?
For å belyse og besvare problemstillingen har oppgaven tatt utgangspunkt i gjeldende litteratur og forskning. Videre ble det gjennomført dybdeintervjuer av ulike aktører på et byggeprosjekt. I lys av litteraturstudien og caseprosjektet er problemstillingen diskutert.
Resultatene fra analysen bærer preg av at de ulike aktørene har ulik formening om definisjonen av BIM, definisjonen av et BIM-prosjekt og hva BIM kan brukes til. Totalt sett er BIM-satsningen fragmentert og lite samordnet. BIM handler mer om måten man samhandler på, fremfor hvilke verktøy man bruker. BIM-prosjekter har ulike nivåer, de avhenger av hvor mye informasjon som skal legges inn i modellen og hva informasjonen skal brukes til. Til tross for ulike meninger om BIM, er det også noen faktorer som korrelerer hos aktørene.
Grunnlaget for prosjekteringen må være på plass, slik at det er en felles forståelse for resultatet. BIM kan bidra en rekke fordeler. For en effektiv BIM-gjennomføring er det nødvendig med følgende faktorer:

The title of the master thesis is, BIM-design – the various participants and their perception of efficient execution.
The purpose of the exercise is to see how the various participants in the same building project correlates to their perception of BIM. On the basis of literature, theory, case project, discussion and analysis, the research is being conducted. In addition, it is interesting to clarify the use of BIM in the execution of the design and how it affects the overall completion of a construction project. The research question is:
How is BIM execution perceived in a construction project by various participants in the design phase?
Based on current literature and research, the problem and answer to the question is illustrated. It was conducted interviews with the various participants. The research is discussed based on the literature and a case study project.
The results of the analysis reflect the different participants have different opinions on the definition of BIM, the definition of a BIM-project and where to use BIM. The BIM initiative is overall fragmented and poorly coordinated. BIM is more about the way to interact, rather than what tools to use. BIM-projects have different levels, depending on the amount of information to put in the model and what information to use. Despite different opinions about BIM, there are also some factors that correlate with the participants.
The basis of the design phase must be in place so there is a common understanding of the result. BIM advantages are no secret. The following factors are required for an effective BIM execution:

Interaction and closer cooperation from an early stage
