Abstract
The purpose of this study is to provide insight into the challenges that employees experience as a result of processes related to digital change, and the consequences this will have for employees' ability and willingness to contribute to the company's effort on renewing their work processes. To do this, we based the study on a case that deals with the introduction of tablet computers in primary schools in Ås municipality. The problem and accompanying research questions are based on central theories and frameworks related to individuals’ relationships with learning and stress. Albrecht's four stress typologies, RaguNathan et al.’s causes of techno-stress, and literature within classical learning theories are central empirical frameworks used in this study. Furthermore, we have examined the teachers' experience of changes in their working lives as a result of the coronavirus, in terms of teaching digitally from their homes and the challenges associated with it. The study was conducted as a qualitative study with nine teachers from Ås municipality's primary schools.
