Abstract
This master’s thesis explores the impact of home-ownership on geographical mobility. Mobility is important to find a new job, but during recessions, the willingness to move is low among Norwegians. International researchers have identified home-ownership as a possible explanation for reduced ability and willingness to move. In light of the oil crisis in Rogaland, this study examines peoples’ moving patterns between 2015 and 2016.
