The regulation of bisphenol A in Denmark and Norway : how the problem of chemical safety is framed and addressed amidst scientific uncertainty
Abstract
This thesis analyzes how bisphenol A has been regulated in Denmark and in Norway. It looks into how the bisphenol A problem is understood and framed in each country. In particular, it studies the different regulatory processes that took place, with the aim of describing how scientific uncertainty has been accommodated in each process and policy outcome.
