Abstract
This paper first sheds light on the friendly role of India during the war of

Independence in 1971 that led to the birth of Bangladesh. Secondly, the paper makes

an attempt to analyze why Bangladesh-India border is violent. Thirdly, the paper

looks into the whole issue from theoretical understanding, more precisely-

Constructivism framework. Fourthly, the study also tries to make an argument

through its different findings. The paper concludes with an observation that there are

several way-outs to resolve border killing.
