Kreative prosesser i møtet mellom naturbasert reiseliv og stedsutvikling : fellesskapende motiv som bidrag til omstilling i lokalsamfunn

Abstract

Avhandlingen inngår i forskningsprosjektet BIOTOUR, som handler om å utvikle kunnskap om bærekraftig naturbasert reiseliv i Norge. Hovedproblemstillingen i avhandlingen tar utgangspunkt i et kunnskapsbehov som kan bidra til å styrke stedsspesifikke og kreative måter å skape synergi og samspill mellom reiseliv og lokal samfunnsutvikling. Dette krever en samfunnsmessig tilnærming til reiseliv (natur- kulturbasert), utover økonomiske motiv for utvikling. Med utgangspunkt i dette er avhandlingens problemstilling; hvordan kan kreative prosesser i møtet mellom naturbasert reiseliv og stedsutvikling bidra til omstilling i lokalsamfunn? Avhandlingen bidrar med perspektiver på begrepet landskapsressurser i møtet mellom naturbasert reiseliv og lokalsamfunnsutvikling, med bakgrunn i en landskapsdemokratisk-diskurs innenfor den landskapsarkitekturfaglige akademiske disiplinen.

This thesis is part of the research project BIOTOUR, which aims to develop knowledge for sustainable nature-based tourism in Norway. The issue addressed in the thesis has evolved based on the understanding that there is a need to move beyond purely economic motives for tourism development, focusing on finding place-specific and creative ways for tourism and local development to work together. Therefore, the main research question is; how can creative processes in the interplay between nature-based tourism and local community development contribute to sustainable transitions in local communities? The thesis contributes to the development of landscape resource perspectives linked to the landscape democracy discourse within the academic discipline of landscape architecture.
