(Fukt i bygninger) | nb_NO |
dc.description.abstract | Water damage to wood constructions has been an important theme in Norway. Insurance companies in Norway had received 58 189 messages related to this in 2014. Rapid measures are needed in such cases to limit the amount of injury. One may mention molding injuries as a common example of such injuries. (Matsson and Strensrød 2009) Something else can lead to poor indoor environment and high payments from insurance companies. Temperature and humidity affect woodwork together, and should always be considered in context. Moisture can be transported through wood both in steam form at RF less than 98% and as free water at RF higher than 98%. Diffusion and convection are therefore two important mechanisms associated with moisture damage of wooden houses. (Moisture in buildings) | nb_NO |
