Abstract
In this thesis data from two long-term fertilization trials established in 1966 with different levels of phosphorus and potassium was used to study how fertilization with phosphorous (P) has influenced the content of various P fractions in soil (P-AL, total P, inorganic and organic P) . The hypothesis was that the area of balance that was defined in the official fertilization recommendation, in the range P-AL 5-7 (mg P/ 100 g) was reasonable. The hypothesis was confirmed by one of the fields with less clay, while the field with soli with the most clayey clay soil had a balance area slightly lower in the area of P-AL 3-5.
