Historiske grøntanlegg i Norge og Italia : en sammenligning av forvaltning, lovverk, registrering, restaurering og overvåking

Abstract

Kulturminnevernets arbeid med forvaltning av historiske grøntanlegg er et komplekst felt med mange utfordringer. Gjennom å undersøke situasjonen i Norge og Italia i forhold til lovverk, forvaltning, registrering, restaurering og overvåking, tegnes det et bilde av nåværende situasjon og utfordringer på dette feltet i begge land. I sum kan man se at det er et økende fokus på historiske grøntanlegg. Faremomentet er at utviklingen innen kulturminnevernet har et langsommere tempo enn forfallet som truer den grønne kulturarven. Innen de fire punkter som omhandles, er kompetanse og økonomi gjengående utfordringer for at kulturminnevernets funksjon skal være tilfredsstillende. // Management of historical gardens is a complex field with many challenges. Through examining the situation in Norway and Italy – in terms of legislation, administration, registration, restoration and monitoring – an image of the current situation and challenges in both countries is conveyed. Overall, an increasing focus on the field of historical gardens is evident. The slow development within the field of cultural heritage is a hazard, as the decay that threatens the green heritage has a faster pace. Through the four topics of discussion, the expertise and the economy are recurring challenges for a satisfying management of historical gardens.
