| dc.description.abstract | Broer har gjennom tidene blitt brukt for at ferdselsårer skal kunne krysse hindringer i landskapet. Ved inngrep i naturen er det viktig at broer utformes og dimensjoneres for å tilpasse seg terrenget og øvrige naturforhold. De estetiske kravene er avgjørende og må oppfylles i broens møte med landskapet. Ved gjennomtenkte plasseringer og formelementer vil broen bidra som et positivt innslag i landskapsbildet. Den vil også kunne spille på lag med omgivelsene og gi brukeren en tilhørighet til området.
Brokonstruksjoner kan virke som et dominerende innslag i landskapet og derfor er det mange gode grunner til å påvirke hvordan de fremstår. For at broer skal oppleves som et gjennomarbeidet anlegg er det viktig at formgivningselementene er bearbeidet.
Et av disse formelementene er lyssetting som sammen med materialvalg, form og farge er vesentlige for det visuelle inntrykket av broen.
Oppgaven er bygd opp med fire deler. I den innledende delen vil jeg introdusere bakgrunnen for oppgaven, problemstilling, metode og avgrensninger. Del to består av en teoridel som bygger på litteraturstudier av broer og lyssetting. Del tre er en casestudie som består av undersøkelser og drøfting av de utvalgte broene. Broene ble studert med tanke på oppgavens mål og problemstilling ut fra teori, spørreskjema, intervjuer og egne vurderinger. Tredje og siste del inneholder mulighets- og forbedringspotensialer i de ulike brocasene samt en hovedkonklusjon.
Bridges have through the ages been used to allow transport routes to cross terrain obstacles. While having an impact on the landscape, it is important that bridges are designed and dimensioned to adapt to the surrounding terrain and natural conditions. These aesthetic requirements are essential and must be met in the adaptation of the bridge to the landscape. By thinking through the positioning and the form elements of the bridge it will become a positive element in the landscape. The bridge will then be integrated with the surrounding landscape and give the user a sense of belonging to the area.
Bridge constructions may be perceived as dominant features in the landscape and therefore there are many good reasons to influence how they appear. In order for bridges to be perceived as a thorough system it is important that the design elements are carefully processed. One of these elements is the lighting which in combination with the choice of materials, shape and colour is essential to the visual impression of the bridge.
This thesis is made up of four parts. In Part One I will introduce the background and objective of the thesis, the definition of the problem, methodology and refinements. Part Two contains the theoretical platform based on literature studies of bridges and their lighting systems. Part Three is a case study consisting of examinations and discussions of selected bridges. The case study is done on the basis of the objective of the thesis and the problem definition using theory, questionnaires and interviews in the analysis. Part Four contains a feasibility study to identify the potential for improvement of the selected bridges and the main conclusions of the thesis. | no_NO |
