This study within real estate development addresses use of SWOT analysis for idea- and concept development. A method is developed to use for assessing and evaluating early stage ideas in a structured manner. The method is applied for the evaluation of a specific idea; an ecological second home development in Norway. Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats are identified through interviews with real estate developers and experts, and the work is finalized by suggestions for further work with the idea.en_US
