dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this paper is to present and summarize a considerable amount of information on the physical properties of a wide range of cultivated topsoils and undisturbed subsoils from same important
agricultural regions of Norway. Emphasis has been placed on establishing relationships between properties, in order to provide a framework for the estimation of the most commonly required parameters, on the basis of available soil descriptors. These are usually limited to, at best, grain size distribution and
ignition-loss, or, not infrequently, simply to textural class and estimated organic matter content. | en_US |
